Each room is designed in the style of different ethnic groups.
- H'Mong ethnic group (mainly Black Mong). This ethnic group accounts for 50% of the population in Sapa. The costumes are easy to recognize: they often wear black clothes, jackets without sleeves, long hems, and black scarves and hats.
- Red Dao ethnic group: They are most concentrated in Ta Phin village. Identification point: men wear short shirts in indigo or black; Women wear red scarves on their heads.
- The Tay ethnic group is often concentrated in southern communes. The Tay people's costume is quite simple: a dark blue or dark indigo slit shirt, with a belt wrapped around the waist.
- Giay ethnic group. Concentrated heavily in Ta Van valley. They are easily recognized by the colored cloth tape around the neck and hem.
- Xa Pho ethnic group. They usually live in Nam Sai commune. The patterns on the costumes are mainly red, white and blue, standing out on an indigo background.
